Security

1.If a file is deleted then it is saved to another backup file .

2.You can make a file read only so that no one can overwrite it.

3.Encryption is when you change the plain English into words that make no sense that can then be turned back into  English so people understand it.

4.Encryption is good because if you need to send a secret message then you can encrypt it so only the person who is meant to see the message can read it.

Mavis Batey

Mavis Batey
She was  employed by London Section to check  columns of  The Times for coded spy messages, in 1940 she was recruited to work as a codebreaker at Bletchley Park. She worked as an assistant to Dilly Knox, and was closely involved in the decoding  before the Battle of Matapan. According to The Daily Telegraph, she became so familiar with the styles of single enemy operators that she could determine that two of them had a girlfriend called Rosa and this insight allowed her to develop a successful technique. In December 1941 she cracked a code between Belgrade and Berlin that enabled them to use a machine that was  previously thought to be unbreakable. While at Bletchley Park she met Keith Batey, a mathematician and fellow codebreaker whom she married in 1942.

What is the internet?

What is the internet

What is ISP?

ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. It provides you with services on the internet such as Virgin Media and BT. It is useful as it gives a range of services and better internet speed. However it can cost lost and may have restrictions.

What is IP?

An IP address is the address for your computer, each address is different and when something is sent to you the IP address means it gets sent to the right place.

How does the internet work?

The internet works by breaking down messages into packages with instructions that show how the message is put back together. The messages are sent in different directions so they cant be tracked. They then arrive at the IP address and are put back together again.
